The Road Not Taken (Yet)

Here is the car:

I spent the day learning to drive with, and practicing on, a clutch. I am competent enough to drive it to school tomorrow, barring too many stalls.

I scored the highest out of both classes for AP Microeconomics, with Mr. Asher.

This makes me very happy, mostly because I feel guilt if I let Mr. Asher down. I did just that with the Unit 7 test, 73%. Ouch.

My EFC is $4725, which isn’t that bad in the grand scheme of things.
My family is only thought to be able to pay that much, and I’m pretty confident we can manage that.

Today was a busy day of sorts. I picked up and offically signed all the papers making a beautiful 1995 Ford Mustang (Hunter Green) mine. Now I just have to learn to drive clutch, and all will be well.

I sent off the forms to colleges. Not the applications, I did those online, but the teacher recommendation forms and what not had to be mailed. Yay for the American Postal Service!

I also just filed for the FAFSA, by the recommended deadline! How awesome is that?! Either way we’ll see how much money the government wants to give me to go to college and make the world smarter.
